Athletes Testimonials

As a former competitive gymnast, fitness and health have always been an integral part of my life. Over the years, finding fitness trainers who shared similar philosophies and approaches towards fitness training was never difficult. However, finding a trainer like Sandee who would challenge me and train me at the intensity level I experienced as a gymnast, proved difficult if not impossible.

Although I am not a competitive athlete today, fitness training is a priority and an important part of my life. Sandee’s philosophy which emphasizes consistent workouts and positive life style changes combined with her approach towards strength training through the use of pilates and spin, has proven to be successful. Her individually tailored fitness programs, which are purposely made simple for clients to follow yet challenging in nature, gave me immediate results when combined with good nutrition and consistency.

I believe Sandee is on the cutting edge when it comes to cross training athletes. She knows the importance of cross training pilates with other sports. Sandee and I share the opinion that pilates not only gives an athlete better range of motion and a stronger core but also strengthens, supporting muscle groups which make athletes stronger. Furthermore, strengthening the core and supporting muscles helps prevent athletes from sustaining injury to primary muscle or joint groups caused by the repetitive nature of THEIR sport.

As a gymnast, I sustained many injuries. Sandee’s knowledge and experience training athletes with sports related injuries allowed her to customize my training program, thus preventing further injury to these areas. In my opinion, Sandee’s knowledge in pilates, spin, yoga and other various fitness programs combined with her many fitness certifications and fitness experience make her a phenomenal trainer.

Sandee is a leader in her profession and sets the bar high for other trainers. Her training style and programs are as competitive as they come. I strongly believe that the athlete that incorporates her training programs with their athlete sports program will likely out perform their peer group, have longevity in their sport and go on to have successful athletic careers.

I have trained with Sandee for nine months now. I train three days a week, dedicating one hour to spin and one hour to pilates. Sandee takes an active interest in my training and my continual growth. She continually changes my fitness programs, making them more difficult and challenging. My overall strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health have improved tremendously. I have seen great results in my body’s ability to recall muscle mass, shape, strength and muscle response time. My overall body measurements are now similar to what they were when I was twenty years old and a competitive athlete. My body weight and body fat percentage have also decreased, with an overall change of 10% and 46% respectively. I only mention this because I am forty years old and a mother of four children and age and pregnancy are often seen as obstacles to staying in shape. Sandee’s training programs do work and with dedication and time most people should achieve positive fitness results.

Sandee GETS IT! When I say this I mean she has the ability to tap into your mind and give you what you want. She is a great motivator and sets realistic goals. She is dedicated and passionate about what she does and her energy and enthusiasm for fitness training sets her apart from other fitness trainers.

I met Sandee Lea 9 months ago.  I had been a coach & choreographer for a competitive high school dance & cheer for 7 years all while chasing around my toddler & infant. I worked off the "eating for two pounds" by dance classes, running, and choreographing with my teams 5 days a week.

I thought I was pretty fit!  When we moved to Temecula, I retired from coaching and just stopped moving at all for a good 5 years! I was, per Fitness Magazine, a “skinny / fat girl” ...not over weight, but not fit or healthy! I had tried the "fitness" gyms, but never found the will to last. I never could find machine, class, or trainer that could help me realize the results that I had been working so hard to achieve.  I lost interest, money, & time. I just did nothing at ALL!

Now I'm working with Sandee 5 days a week taking her group spin & Pilates.
Overall I have lost almost 5% body fat, 6.5 inches & 8.5 pounds!

More importantly, the definition I am developing in my shoulders, arms, stomach, & entire leg is amazing to me! I now have more flexibility, range, and core strength than I have had at ANYTIME in my life!!! Sandee works all muscle groups so that I get entire body workout every time. Every session is the MOST efficient and effective workout I've ever had!

Sandee challenges & encourages me to push myself to my limits to achieve my goals.
She continues to share her years of yoga, Pilates, and spin to help everyone of her client’s become their personal BEST. Thanks Sandee for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Pilates was the recommendation of a top neurosurgeon to solve referred pain in my hamstring from vertebral compression.  Like most runners I had a weak core, and my OC Pilates trainer helped, but it was Sandee that showed me the impact Pilates could have on my physique.

As a former competitive athlete I appreciated her combining intensity with empathy for my body.  Whether weakly recovering from 'flu or in prime condition, Sandee pitches her training to stretch me and offers constant variety to develop my all round strength and flexibility.

I drive 50 miles to work with her and it's worth it!
